APRC-Würth 2017 - Round 2 Australia
The National Capital Rally, round 2 of the 2017 FIA Asia Pacific Rally Championship was held last month (26-28 May) in Canberra Australia. The event was a great three-way battle between current APRC champion Gaurav Gill from India and Scandinavian drivers OC Veiby and Jari Ketomaa.
The shift to Canberra created a whole new audience and a different demographic from the previous location in Queensland. The start ceremony was held on a street between several high-class hotels and Würth Australia were there in force with people, product and signage - a theme that continued throughout the weekend.
Würth New Zealand was there with a big team, providing the APRC competitors with products and technical assistance. Würth signage was everywhere with large banners at the start, a sales and display booth in the service-park, a big presence at the finish ceremony with large banners, Würth marquee and local representatives to hand-over the prizes.
